I love nothing more than finding amazing vintage pieces to incorporate into my everyday style. I found this vintage 1960s pink shift dress from The Buffalo Exchange in Chelsea a little while back. It's authentic and one of kind which is exactly what I look for when shopping vintage, not to mention getting a bang for my buck. I got this dress for $15! It's made of mohair and it's completely lined for comfort. I gave it a super rock and roll vibe with my Zara leather jacket and a BCBG white lace top underneath to give it a 90's feel. It's still over the knee boot season in my book so I channeled my inner Kate Moss and finished off the look with my over the knee Stuart Weitzman boots.
I had both the pleasure of meeting and shooting with the founders of Silkstaq this weekend. Silkstaq is an awesome new social media site for fashion/beauty influencers and I highly suggest you check them out. I will be touching base more about their site in the press section of my blog this week.
